Program Note
Watching the trains come in, making sure that they are properly connected, and taking care of the passengers’ needs inside a moving train are tasks that appear to be simple but not many people know that they can be very dangerous to pregnant women. This is a report on the railway women workers who are not given any legal protection and need to sacrifice themselves for the common interest even under the current labor movement.
