This film is the latest romantic melodrama from Hong Kong’s master of cinema, Johnnie To, and a sequel to his 2011 film of the same name. The film starts with the heroine of the previous film, Cheng Zixin(Gao Yuanyuan), getting a job with a financial company in Hong Kong, just ahead of her marriage to registered architect, Daniel Wu’s Kevin Fong. Cheng Zixin’s company president Yang Yang Yang(Miriam Yeung) is romantically involved with Louis Koo’s Cheung Shen Ran, who still harbors feelings for Cheng, though she left him in the past. One day, Cheung Shen Ran runs into Cheng by chance, while Cheng’s older brother Paul(Zhou Yumin) and Yang Yang Yang start having feelings for each other. Can each person find true love along the crossroads of unforgettable past and new loves?
