A young woman and her daughter leave their country, Belarus, to avoid the danger of child trafficking and settle in a refugee camp in Sweden. But, the camp is not the comfortable place they were expecting and they are still threatened while at the camp. Meanwhile, a man considered as one of the threats comes closer as a lover to the mother and a father figure to the daughter. But, the severe reality doesn’t allow them to keep the relationship they want and the woman now has to make a choice between motherhood and her love. The process of her choice is heartbreaking so that watching their passionate and beautiful sex arouses the feeling of anxiety. Indeed, anxiety might be the fate of those unsettled. The best part of this thriller is the two women’s dazzling performances. Above all, Magdalena Poplawska’s naked performance leaves a stirring impression and plays a crucial role which accomplishes the dramatic completion beyond a mere visual stimulation. (JEON Chanil)
