Two ebullient recruits, Lee Seung and Kei-kei, join Jones & Sunn, an immensely successful ad agency in Hong Kong. Located in a transparent, jewel-like office, the company is going public soon, and its chairman, Ho Chung-ping—whose wife is in a coma—has been in a long-time secret love affair with the company CEO, Chang Wai. Chairman Ho has promised Chang Wai that he′ll make her a majority shareholder after the company′s audit, but that′s only because he doesn′t know she′s cheating on him with the company′s vice-president, David. Meanwhile, the firm′s accountant, Sophie, breaks up with her boyfriend and becomes confused after David starts making passes at her. Swept up in the schemes and betrayals happening throughout the company, Lee Seung eventually discovers that his new friend Kei-kei is actually Chairman Ho′s daughter. As with his previous films about love and sex in the splendid city of Hong Kong, including Don’t Go Breaking My Heart and its sequel, director Johnnie To once again questions the true meaning of love.
