An incredibly gifted young dancer, whose style is "street," is influenced as much by break-dancing as by ballet. Mute since birth, she competes weekly for cash in New York′s hippest nightclub. Then she is discovered by a handsome, young scientist, who tries to persuade her to be his guinea-pig in testing a device he hopes will help her communicate. As the experimentation unfolds, she begins to fall in love with him; and so her overprotective manager-brother attempts to thwart the scientist′s efforts to help her. "I always dreamed...
