Oliver, a child of only 11 years, is kicked out of his home by his alcoholic and violent stepfather. His mother, who fears being beaten, does not intervene. Oliver finds himself having to live on the streets, where he meets other abandoned and abused children. He sees no choice but to join the small "gang" in order to find food and other elements for survival, including glue - to make him forget. At a video game store, meets Chino who is retarded, but becomes his best friend. Through his friendship with Chino, Oliver becomes familiar with the dangerous world of gangs, hold-ups, and drug trafficking, a business in which everyone wants a share, including some corrupt policemen. The ambition to control the "business” unleashes a merciless confrontation between the gangs of Pelao and Cesar. This war of vice and power, unfortunately a common occurrence in the shantytowns of Latin American cities, is the future that inevitably awaits the children who survive on the streets.
