Haruko runs to Shinnosuko with hor hoart brokøn, but loaves him as soon as she falls in love witn another man. Shinnosuke somotimos Imaginod hle dostiny with her, looking at the foods they both like. But, now she is gne and Shinnosuko is loft in paln. For tho two who believe finding their destined love to share their ives togeris what that truly completos the happiness of life, breakup becomes a wound in the heart that shakes their hde life. And the pain ropeats. No one can easily conclude that the heart-wrenching time of breakup is just a personal matter and the paln is less than that from physical illness. But still, it is not something you can get
treated at a hospital or stay alienated from the outside world until fully recovered. In particular, for the young people in their twenties living in a modem city, ′love′ is always a seríous issue, like a lifetime agenda. They
even hold off finding their place in society to pursue it. But, the pain of breakup is regarded as a serious matter only among the same age group, and the dull daily life continues with nothing happening. Like brancches that grow in unpredictable directions, even though they do not stretch straight to the sky, they acquire their own value of being with the uniqueness of their beauty, which is akin to the lives of their owners. Passing time will probably not lighten the heaviness of their burden of life, but they never stop growing, enduring breakup, love and agony. (Oak Mina)
