Supporting Asian Cinema, Every Step of the Way
Asian Cinema Fund (ACF) is a funding initiative dedicated to supporting Asian independent filmmakers in the creation of feature-length fiction films and documentaries. By supporting projects at the script development, production, and post-production stages, ACF aims to foster independent film production across Asia and provide a stable creative environment for emerging and established filmmakers.
- Co-production Support Fund
- Up to KRW 140,000,000 (approx. USD 100,000) in production support for at least two Korea–Asia co-produced feature-length fiction or animation projects.
- Script Development Fund
- A cash grant of KRW 10,000,000 for the script development of an Asian director’s first or second feature-length fiction film.
- Asian Network of Documentary(AND) Fund
- A cash grant of up to KRW 20,000,000 per project for Asian and Korean feature-length documentary projects at all stages of production.
- Post-Production Fund
- In-kind post-production services (DI, sound mixing, English subtitle spotting, and DCP creation) for Korean feature-length fiction film projects.
