Au-jin, a housewife living in Busan with two children, manages to get by. Her husband doesn′t help her much for living and children′s education. Although she has several part time jobs, it doesn′t get better. Phone calls with a man through her phone job are her only comfort. After Av jin meets Mrs. Kim, who suggests Au-jin work at a bar, Au-jin decides to get a job at the bar. When she feels miserable thinking of herself, she meets Min-su, and she can finally open her heart to. Oh Seok-geun has restarted on his directorial career for 12 years since his commercially projected movie The 101st Propose, and directed Love Is Crazy Thing this year. Love Is Crazy Thing proves that 12 year break as a director is not meaningless to him. Through the struggle df one housewife facing the economical crisis and trying to earn living, Oh Seok-geun delicately pictures the fear and contempt for aging, the brutality in the male-dominated society, the weakness of the feeling called love, and the fatigue and emptiness of life itself. Jeon Mi-sun and Oh Yun-hong present the splendid performance, and the elegant cinematography and editing is outstanding.
