Dean and Jenny arrive in the middle of nowhere and begin digging and drilling a large well. Whatever it is they expect to find is not there, the well is dry. Dean, an already angry man by nature, is far from happy. He is equally disgruntled when they hear noises coming from inside the hole. Jenny thinks it might be ′hole people′ while Dean thinks spies would be a more plausible answer. However, when they lower a torch down and a piece of gold is returned in its place, Dean has a change of heart and heads into town to buy every torch he can find. But to his surprise the hole dwellers teach him a lesson he′ll never forget.
