After a car accident, Arthur falls into a coma. Then, he has to face an odd enigma: what was he doing on this road near Cherbourg? His disturbing speech of incoherent sentences coming straight from his unconscious has been written down in a notebook by one of the nurses of the hospital. At this moment, an amazing experience starts for Arthur, he will be the investigator of his own life. Overwhelmed by the trauma, he has to deal with his biggest enemy yet, his own unconsciousness. When Memento was released, the reaction was simply divided two; loved it or hated it. Nothing in between. The Black Box is a kind of film that is hard to understand. But that is a good thing because it makes us think and it will remain in our mind much longer.
