Program Note
A librarian Eun-soo catches Jun-oh damaging some books. The target of the vandalism is page 198 of a certain book. Peaked with curiosity, Eun-soo tries to help Jun-oh, who says his ex-girlfriend left a message on page 198 of a book. Armed with a list of all the books the ex-girlfriend borrowed, the two open all the books on the list one by one to find the secret. Since his debut feature Ditto, director Kim Jeong-kwon has been fascinated by pure-hearted love stories. A guy who can’t forget his past and an energetic girl beside him sound somewhat cliche, but the sincerity of its heart evokes truthful sympathy in their petty romance. The lead actress Eugene, a former pop idol, is given freedom to showcase her talents. (LEE Sang-yong)
