A middle-aged woman known as Madam Teo looks at luxurious homes. In reality, she is a moneychanger living in an old, cramped house with a view of Little Guilin, modeled after China’s famous Guilin landmark. She tries to fool others and herself, but Madam Teo’s life is simply pitiful.
