Program Note
Mr. Gum， the head of a sinister gang， regularly makes confession with the young priest Lee， and then commits crimes again. When Lee goes to meet Gum in prison， he meets the promiscuous Donna. One day she comes for confession and then seduces him. Rejects her request for marriage， Donna accuses Lee of rape， resulting in judgment of his guilt.

Derek Chiu
After graduation from the Dept. of Foreign Language at Taiwan University， Derek Chiu worked as a script writer and producer at Asian TV ALC. He won the Best Award for his TV drama at the New York Film & TV Festival. After his directorial debut in 1993， he directed Mr. Sardine (1994)， Oh， My Three Guys (1995) and The Log (1996).
