Program Note
Terri is a young, radical and defiant music fan who lives through the time when Belfast was haunted by the deadly conflict between England and Ireland and lost its function as a city in the 1970s. While his friends stood up against England with weapons in their hands, Terry opened a new record shop in the most terror-stricken area and named it “GOOD VIBRATIONS” His record shop opened his eyes to underground punk rock that was just emerging above the surface. Motivating young and aspiring musicians, Terry, the most unlikely candidate, leads a numerous bands to transform Ulster to a placed fused with liveliness.
