“Life starts in bed, finishes in bed.” <B?E?D> is a drama of human relationship, and a new sexual report as well. Director Park Chul-soo, in his age of mid 60’s, searches for universal sexual imagination, deviation and desire which are common to any human beings, utilizing only three characters; B, a man of irresolution, E, his sweet heart but another’s wife, who dares to make an affair for her lust and his wife D who desires to be perfect in career and home at the same time. A bed is also very important as a medium in the film. Though the actor and the actresses used not to appear in featured films, they have built their fame at theatres for years. The music which covers classic, jazz and ballad is also glittering. This film is based on a short story of the same name written by Ms. Kwon Ji-ye, a renowned novelist and the author of 『Eel Stew』and 『Temptation』.
