Xenia-The Sacred Lady of St. Petersburg with the pristine palaces of Empress Catherine and the gloomy taverns on the outskirts of the town. The film focuses on a beautiful noblewoman, Xenia Grigoryevna Petrovna, who is married to an officer, a true orthodox, but their marriage comes to a tragic end. When widowed, Xenia cuts off her hair with a razor, gives away her inheritance to beggars and dresses herself in husband′s uniform.
