Program Note
Pepe is racing in today′s stage of Spain′s biggest bicycle race. As the racers approach the small village where Pepe was born, a minor accident changes the course of the entire race.
Director
Kitaro KOSAKA
Born in Tokyo in 1962, animator Kitaro Kosaka worked closely with famous Studio Ghibli director Hayao Miyzakai for nearly 20 years on films such as NAUSICAA OF THE VALLEY OF THE WINDS and PRINCESS MONOKE. He previously directed the animation short Clover in 1999. He is also an amateur cyclist who regularly participates in racing events.
