One day during the Covid pandemic, when classes are being held online, the teacher who is concerned about the students who have not attended the online classes decides to visit them. Also the mother of a four-yearold, she buckles her daughter into the car and takes off for the students’ houses. Her goal for this trip is to look in on the students, but she has another purpose. She tells her daughter about her own life, and the girl begins to understand the world as she meets other people. The director says, “I have always asked myself which of these worlds can be called life. Somewhere that is too big or somewhere that is too small? The one that is full of noise or the one that is empty of all voices? Does the life have a center? Where are the children, located, and also adults? And is there a place for a tree?” (NAM Dong-chul)
