31st BIFF Poster
As BIFF continues to expand its international presence as one of Asia’s leading film festivals, this year’s official poster centers on an ensemble portrait of the people who gathered at last year’s festival. Rather than presenting them simply as spectators, the poster places them at the heart of the festival—as active participants who help complete it. The varied faces and perspectives of those who visited BIFF come together on the poster to reaffirm the audience’s place at the heart of the festival. These figures stand for the countless encounters and moments that make up BIFF, weaving each person’s individual experiences into a single shared scene — a reminder that a film festival is ultimately completed by the individual experiences that come together.
The official poster was conceived and designed by Choi Soon-dae, who has served as BIFF’s art director since its second edition, shaping the look of its posters and festival spaces.
