Kih-Hoon Kim studied the fine art and cinema studies at the City University of New York. During that period, he worked for the independent media activities at the College Voice, the university newspaper, including making a documentary about anti-war movements in New York. ‘The Mode of Disappearance’ is the first fiction film that he made in South Korea. At the moment, he is writing a feature screenplay along with making another film called “ Vorstellen 1.- The Way of Calling Nietzsche”, a documentary about the city New York and Cinema.
