<B> 2005 Venice Film Festival </B>
Small Station is inspired by a real story. A 60-year-old woman and her 35-year-old mentally disabled son travel from Taipei to a remote train station in the interior of Taiwan. The son is fond of watching trains rushing by, and the two spend the day just watching express trains pass by, back and forth, north and south, past the small station.

Chien Ping Lin
Director, Mr. Lin Chien Ping, Started his career as cinematographer in 1984, first as an apprentice. Later the Director lived in Paris ans New York for 8 years to advance his study in academy to learn more about directing and cinematography. Now he works as a movie director and cinematographer in Taiwan with established fame.
