One summer day, Soo-In, an interior decorator, meets an old bachelor movie director, Sung-Woo, at the flea market. Instantly drawn together, they begin seeing each other daily. Anally neat Soo-In and an equally messy Sung-Woo face minor conflicts due to personality differences. After they consumate their relationship, Sung-Woo feels he possesses her and treats her with indifference. Without resolving this problem, the couple bid goodbye. The two, however, still utterly in love, reunite at the break of the dawn testing what love is and is not.
