Students and colleagues regard Yang Mi-suk, a high school Russian teacher who blushes easily because of a facial flushing condition, as unattractive. She has been in love with her colleague Mr. Seo since her high school days, but her pure heart fails to attract him. Instead, her pretty looking colleague Lee Yuri manages to attract his eyes. Mi-suk approaches Mr. Seo’s middle school student daughter to find another way win his love. Director Lee Kyoung-mi’s feature debut creates a new character in Korean cinema with extraordinary boldness and frankness. Proving how immature the women or the youth of our era are at forging relationships with people, Mi-suk, who has never been loved by anybody, becomes a portrait of our life.
