A coming of age story revolving around a young, wacky astronomy enthusiast and a web designer. Ollie Kepler has always fallen into astronomic world of imagination, but its degree escalates after his girlfriend’s death. With the added guilt of her death, he becomes almost crazy, even hearing voices. His best friend’s advice is to no avail, he quits his job and falls more and more into his own world. Through the story of Ollie Kepler, the movie reminds us of the relationship between love and insanity. As though love is a type of insanity, it is the focus of our attention, but not really the theme of the movie. The fantasy-styled humor that flows through the movie as though making fun of the old British austerity brings a smile to our faces. Although there is still much to be had to be called perfect, the pathos and the comedy in the movie have us believe that the imperfection is actually a show of potential. The visual and sound harmonizes beautifully and Edward Hogg makes a brilliant Ollie. (JEON Chanil)
