To escape the humid and scorching summer heat, women residents gather outside of an apartment on the outskirts of Seoul. Electrical shortage, drought, and super-flaring tempers dominate the scene along with playings of unfazed children. Another female resident, Jung-Hee, runs out of the apartment screaming, chased by her husband who was beating her. Outraged by this, the women fight back, injuring the husband terribly until the police come and an ambulance is called.
