A woman’s desperate scream is heard on a summer night. Residents of the apartment building wonder at the sound, but ignore it. What happens down there becomes something that never happened if no one saw it. A fearfully cold look into the cruelty of the city.

YANG Zhengfan
After graduating in Law, Yang Zhengfan started filmmaking in 2009. He was invited to Locarno and Vancouver International Film Festivals with his first film Distant (2013) and to Rotterdam with his second film Where Are You Going (2016.) He is currently running production house Burn The Film which he founded together with documentary filmmaker Zhu Shenze.
