Hyesung is on a month-long trip to Germany with Sungkook, a performance artist, to record his performance in Germany. Since they are very close friends, they expect to get along well in the faraway country, but soon after their arrival in Germany, they continue to creak. In fact, Sungkook is an artist who sublimates his disability to his personality and shows amazing performances, releasing all the stress of preparing for the performance to Hyesung. Hyesung knows it is an opportunity to make her own work, but she becomes frustrated in the situation that she has to take care of everything for Sungkook. The film, Unknown Knowns, takes a close look at the director′s own mind for a disabled acquaintance. As soon as the director realizes that her heart, which she believed in admitting the other person as she is, might be lying enough to cheat herself, she gets confused and the movie shakes.
