Granny Ah Xi lives a solitary existence and is becoming increasingly more erratic. Two helpers leave in frustration. Then a third girl comes to work and the two develop a sincere friendship. Granny Ah Xi decides to give her life earnings to the helper so that the dream of opening a restaurant in her hometown can be realized. With no misgivings, Granny Ah Xi then enters a convalescent home.
