Kyle Nieva is a director based in Manila. At the age of 18, he began exhibiting his directorial work in institutions such as the EYE Filmmuseum in Amsterdam and received his first national and international awards. Kyle graduated with a bachelor′s degree in Film from the University of the Philippines Diliman and is an alumnus of Festival del Film Locarno′s Open Doors Lab and Tribeca Film Institute′s Talent Lab. As a producer, his latest work entitled Filipiñana (2020) won the Silver Bear Award at the Berlinale.
