Program Note

In a city as dreamscape, a cabbie that long gave up his hopes and dreams lives vicariously through his fares while a girl who clings to hers wanders the streets anonymously. The longing voice of a man comforts the nights of Aurora in this poetical, rhythmic depiction of the drifting life of the city. (CHO Young-jung)

Janus VICTORIA

Born in Manila, she is an alumna of the 2005 Asian Film Academy. She works as a program producer for a news network in the Philippines. <Aurora, My Aurora> is the second film in her trilogy on Manila, collectively called “Pares (Pairs)”. <Hopia Express>(2006) the first in the trilogy, received the Best Short Film Award in the 8th Cinemanila International Film Festival.
