Nine-year-old Si-woo often cries at night, missing his late mother. In those moments, his father Min Byung-hun embraces him, offering comfort and solace. The bereaved father and son’s days are burdened with sadness, solitude, and longing for the loving wife and mother, but their shared moments are imbued with warmth and strength. Byung-hun encourages Si-woo to write poetry, while he himself channels his unexpressed emotions into capturing nature through his camera lens. Capturing the forest, wind, fog, snow, sunlight, sunset, and the sea, Byung-hun’s camera and Si-woo’s poetry seamlessly merge with one another, and the father and son’s everyday life, bittersweet emotions, and the changing seasons naturally pervade the poetic images on the screen.
