It seems to imply how his fate as king will unfold, confessing his sins. The director makes a cinematic reconstruction, setting up real people and imaginary folk characters. The Bastille prison collapses, and in the scene of the struggle for revolution, the camera moves between characters, conveying a sense of urgency. The story unfold, led by the people. To solve widespread hunger, Parisians shout "Bread and Freedom" and François and Basil fight for their freedom and human rights. François is an active, independent and strong woman who participates in the revolution right to the end as a witness of history.
