Program Note
This film seeks to give a pictorial view of a father, after his passing from life, seeking to reach out to his son. His lamentations of his incapability to identity with his son are graphically displayed in the film. The film, with narration entirely in the Chinese Hokkkein dialect, shows the vicious cycle whereby the negligence of a son by his father is repeated in the next generation.
