To get out of a well and reach for the light, a small creature clings to a gas bubble. He rises, holding tight to the bubble, crossing hostile spaces, standing up to cold, darkness, and loneliness. When he reaches the light, he is unable to join the party. When he finds love, he is carried away by his bubble. Finally, he tames it, playing and floating with it through the light.
