Jury Comment The Last Semester tackles a relatable story through characters facing an important transition period in their lives. While the theme has its weight, the director manages to relay this in a calm and humorous manner. The direction and photography which walk alongside the actors, while also maintaining distance, makes the audience look forward to the characters’ tomorrow as they steady on through a string of hardships.
